Questions with か (ka)
Add ka to the end of a sentence to make it a question.
Kore wa hon desu → Kore wa hon desu ka
(This is a book → Is this a book?)
Note that the word order does not change.
- use nani (what) to ask about things
- use dare (who) to ask about people
- use dou (how) to ask about condition or state
